Polyether polyol (abbreviated as polyether) is an organic polymer, which is prepared by adding polymerization reaction of starting agent (compound containing active hydrogen groups) and ethylene oxide (EO), propylene oxide (PO), butane oxide (BO) in the presence of catalyst. The largest yield of polyether is glycerol (glycerol) as the starting agent and epoxide (generally the combination of PO and EO), by changing the way of PO and EO feeding (mixed or separate adding), adding ratio, adding order and other conditions, to produce a variety of general polyether polyols.
This product is a- hydrogen -or hydroxy-poly (oxyethylene)a- poly (oxyel)a block copolymer. It is formed by the reaction of propylene oxide and propylene glycol to form polyoxy propylene glycol, and then by adding ethylene oxide to form block copolymer. In the copolymer, the content of oxene unit U is 75 ~ 85, the content of oxypropylene unit (6) is 25 ~ 30, the content of oxyethylene EO is 79. 9% ~ 83. 7%, and the average molecular weight is 7680 ~ 9510.
